El desembre del 1976, els treballadors de tots els sectors van sortir als carrers per millorar les seves condicions laborals a través d'aconseguir de millorar els seus convenis. Com a punts generals que s'intentaven millorar eren: el termini màxim de deu dies per les deliberacions, ja que podia dificultar les mobilitzacions, una rebaixa de l'horari de treball, trencar el sostre salarial.
